Historical	Hebrew inscription is misspelled. (Surname says “Ergar”.) Flora arrived in HK around 1912 or 13, with the boys but possibly without her husband. He may have remained in Bahrain or perhaps he had already died. It’s possible that John (Jacob) died soon after Sidney was born. Faced with limited financial prospects in Bahrain, she packed up the boys at the suggestion of the Ellis family, who already had a presence in HK. Felix Maurice Ellis (2B1) was her nephew. She lived at 39 Stubbs Road. Her son, Joseph, was cremated.
