HistoricalEvery Friday morning Ruby used to go play tombola on Kowloon-side and she always took the Star Ferry to get there. When she did not return home one night, Sunny called the police and hospitals. Ruby was on her way home when she collapsed and died on the spot at Star Ferry on Kowloon.

She may have been widowed in 1955.
