Historical	He was the leader of the Gloucester Trio at the Gloucester Hotel. In 1929, he was a musician on the S.S. Resolute. His daughter married Frederick Alfred Pearson and they had three children together. He also had a child from a previous marriage. One was named Gregory John Pearson. His wife may have been from Russia but then moved with her family to Harbin. An Issak Grygoryevich Ratkevich and Elizaveta Berkovich Ratkevich are buried there. She may have died in Melbourne, Australia.
