Historical	According to Wikipedia, Sir Ellis was knighted in 1917. However, Wikipedia also notes that “Kt” is the correct abbreviation for the Knight Bachelor honour. (“KT” is the abbreviation for Knight of the Thistle.) In an 1898 jurors' list, he is listed as Ellis Kelly, a broker at Benjamin, Kelly & Potts, and living on Upper Richmond Road. Today, Upper Richmond Road is known as Robinson Road. He may have had a daughter, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ellis, with Fung Kam Ellis.
