David led the Ohel Leah Synagogue’s voluntary choir and sang at the opening of the Synagogue in 1902. He and Sallie were married in Ohel Leah on December 20, 1908. In an 1898 jurors’ list, he is listed as a merchant for David Sassoon Sons & Co, and living at 10 Albany Road. In a 1917 jurors’ list, he is listed as a clerk at E. D. Sassoon & Co Ltd. |
